SKE is a Chinese vaping brand founded in 2018. In the UK they became one of the bestselling disposable vape brands through the SKE Crystal Bar, a compact 600-puff device that built a loyal following for its flavour quality and tight MTL draw. When the UK government banned single-use disposable vapes in June 2025, SKE launched rechargeable pod kits to replace it. Both the Bar 600 and the Crystal CL6000 carry the Crystal Bar flavour range at 20mg nicotine salt. Both kits use the same MTL draw and the same 20mg nic salt e-liquid. If you are switching from the Crystal Bar and want the most familiar experience, the Bar 600 is the closer match in size and feel. Who Are SKE Vapes For?
SKE Crystal kits are built for former Crystal Bar users and cigarette switchers who want a simple, no-settings MTL device. There are no buttons, no wattage adjustment and no coils to change. Both kits are inhale-activated. You click in a pod and vape.
If you regularly used Crystal Bars before the June 2025 ban, either kit will give you the same flavours and the same draw on a legal device. The Bar 600 is the lower-cost entry point and the closer match to the original disposable format. The CL6000 is the more economical option over time because its 12ml pod set lasts far longer than a single 2ml Bar 600 pod.
Neither kit is designed for sub-ohm vaping. Both are strictly fixed MTL systems. If you want adjustable power or the ability to use your own e-liquid, a refillable pod kit is a better fit.

Are SKE Crystal vapes legal in the UK after the disposable ban?
Yes. The UK disposable vape ban came into force on 1 June 2025 and applies only to single-use vapes. Both the SKE Bar 600 and the Crystal CL6000 are rechargeable pod kits. You keep the battery and replace the pod when the e-liquid runs out. Neither is classified as a disposable under UK law and both are fully TPD compliant.
What happened to the SKE Crystal Bar disposable?
The SKE Crystal Bar 600 disposable was banned in the UK on 1 June 2025 under legislation banning single-use vapes. SKE replaced it with two rechargeable pod kits — the Bar 600 (600 puffs per pod) and the Crystal CL6000 (6,000 puffs per pod set) — both carrying the same Crystal Bar flavours at 20mg nic salt.
Are SKE Bar 600 pods and CL6000 pods interchangeable?
No. Bar 600 pods are single 2ml pods specific to the Bar 600 device. CL6000 pods use a two-piece design with a 2ml pod and a separate 10ml refill container, specific to the CL6000. The two pod types are not compatible with each other's devices.
What nicotine strength are SKE Crystal pods?
All SKE Crystal prefilled pods contain 20mg nicotine salt e-liquid. This is the maximum legal strength in the UK. Nicotine salts deliver a smoother throat hit than freebase nicotine at the same strength, making 20mg well-tolerated by most adult vapers switching from cigarettes or disposables.
Do SKE Crystal kits come with a USB-C charging cable?
No. Neither the Bar 600 nor the CL6000 includes a USB-C cable in the box. You will need to supply your own. Any standard USB-C cable will work for both devices.
What is the difference between SKE Crystal pod kits and SKE Crystal Original E-Liquid?
The Bar 600 and CL6000 are prefilled pod kits: sealed pods click into the device and you replace the pod when it runs out. No filling required. The Crystal Original E-Liquid is a 10ml bottled nic salt for refillable pod kits. You fill your device yourself. The e-liquid is available in 10mg and 20mg, whereas both pod kits are 20mg only. The e-liquid also works in any MTL pod kit, not just SKE devices. One 10ml bottle gives around 3,000 puffs and is the most cost-effective option per puff.
